VAULT 49

Vault 49 is an awesome design/ ad shop in NY. Their signature style is really intricate and vibrant vector graphics. They have a very deep client list including huge companies like Coke, Nike, Samsung, and Honda. The trendy vector look can get really old and annoying really fast, but Vault 49 keeps it pretty fresh. vault49.com

YOUWORFORTHEM.COM

youworkforthem.com is a very cool graphic design resource. You can pick up stock vectors, photoshop brushes, textures, typefaces, and design books that you can preview page by page.
Everything you buy can be delivered to you digitally. The stuff is pretty cheap, if your in a jam and facing a deadline picking up some stock stuff can help if you chop it up and integrate it into your concept.    youworkforthem.com

+81 MAGAZINE... THE FIRST POST

When i was visiting japan and hong kong last year i stumbled across some awesome stuff. The architecture, signage, ads, stores, and restaurants were very cool. There were also tons and tons of books/ magazines/ archives/ and newspapers that had amazing graphic design. The vertical asian type format gave me a new perspective on layout and editorial design. +81 magazine is an asian design magazine a lot like the CA and Print magazines we have here. You can grab single issues on this site and on Ebay, but if you can afford it you need to get a subscription. this magazine is AWESOME and super fresh, every issue has something in it that kicks ass. its a must have resource... www.plus81.com

THE ARMORY IS....

WELCOME TO THE ARMORY. As a graduate from the Art Center in pasadena and now a designer at an entertainment ad agency in hollywood im always looking for something to set of a spark and give me a great idea for and ad, a campaign, or just a general direction. Every time i come across something that sets off an idea I'm going to post it on the blog. This way i can remember what's given me inspiration, and hopefully at the same time give you guys a great resource for whatever you need to do...
